The Wawokiye Foundation is a public benefit 501c(3) corporation created to help the Native American population of the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and the Native American Community in Los Angeles.

The Foundation focuses on assisting with the procurement of heat and food supplies for the elderly on the Pine Ridge Reservation, particularly during the winter. New clothing and toys are provided to the Native children during the December holiday season.

The Foundation works closely with the Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission providing support to Commission activities and other associated Native American entities and programs. The supported programs focus on the Native American Youth of the area.

The Foundation also supports Native American Legal Aid, which provides assistance to indigent members of the community in a self-help format.

It is headquartered in North Hollywood, California, and counts among its directors Randall Murphy. Mr. Murphy is a Mayoral-appointed Commissioner on the Native American Indian Commission, and a member of the Mayor's Committee.
